A decade of making
learning matter
I'm a Learning & Development Professional with over a decade of experience designing training initiatives that actually work. My career spans two very different but deeply complementary worlds — K-12 education and Fortune 500 corporate training — giving me a uniquely well-rounded perspective on how people learn.
At MGM Resorts International, I manage instructional design strategy and high-impact training initiatives across the enterprise. I lead and coach a team of instructional designers, manage intake and triage of design requests, and define content standards to ensure quality and consistency across global audiences. I maintain a portfolio of over 70 active learning solutions — including the New Hire Orientation program serving 65,000 employees across 16 properties and corporate entities and the Leadership Development Program — reaching 1,500 leaders annually through eight half-day workshops that build leadership capability and support succession planning.
I also serve as a liaison between the company and several external vendors — ensuring contracts align with organizational needs and that all learning solutions meet brand standards and accessibility requirements.
Great learning experiences don't happen by accident. They're built with intention, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping people grow.
The foundation of my craft was built in the Clark County School District where I coached teachers on instructional best practices, led professional development initiatives, converted traditional curriculum into engaging virtual formats, and used data tracking and analysis to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement across programs.
With a Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction I bring rigorous research skills, expertise in assessment design, and a deep understanding of how to effectively measure learning outcomes. Paired with a genuine passion for continuous improvement, I'm always evolving — studying what works, applying what's new, and designing with both evidence and intention.
